Welcome to the blog where all thoughts are welcome, especially the ones that you feel are better left unsaid in other parts of your world. All that I ask is your comments and responses are thoughtful and respectful, with the goal of expressing ourselves and educating each other.

Home is where ever your heart is. This is coming from someone who has lived in the same house for fifty years, so take notice…if you have a few people who love you ( even if your “person” is a cat .they will tell you. as long as you’re together it doesn’t matter – if you have a full blown Thanksgiving or split a peanut butter sandwich, you have what is most important, love.

  2. Sharon says:

Home is where you can be yourself. There is love, relaxation, acomplishment and even frustration. But most of all where you have your life. It is the happy place.

I just made it (almost) through a loss, by flood, every material thing I have. Everything. I am happy to be almost home again and thankful that I have been able to survive. I am not alone in this experience, there are approx 100,000 just like me. We have persevered and found strength to make it through another day. And then another.
